Web copy, ad copy, press releases and reports all have one thing in common- they have an audience. That audience deserves respect; they shouldn't have to fight to stay awake while reading your message.

Shape accesses formidable skills: graphic design, interior design, writing, marketing, public relations, publicity and more. Your project gets the creative attention it needs to get the attention your business needs.

Shape Communications
was launched in 2008 by Jacquie Thillaye as a vehicle for her diverse skill sets. Her personal professional experience (in communication skills development, public relations, facilitation, retail management, customer service, event coordination, and performance) combined with her volunteer experience make her a formidable project leader; her love of writing allows her to offer well-crafted copy.

Jacquie is the contributing editor of Halifax-based business-to-business publication Mingle Magazine. Visit Mingle at www.minglemag.ca.

Jacquie received official recognition by Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly and by MLA Maureen MacDonald for her volunteer efforts as President of the Halifax Skatepark Coalition, having steered from start to finish a 4 year, $600,000 fund raising project to build the new Commons Skateboard Park in downtown Halifax.

"I was extremely pleased with the approach and manner in which she used her coaching skill to guide me through the process of preparing for the media and the public at large. Her mastery in approaching tasks from a unique perspective leaves one with a strong sense of confidence in the manner in which you are working. This outside the box thinking allows for many different situations to be thoroughly covered and finalized. Jacquie was also a great asset when it came to communications. Her writing ability accentuates the fact that she is a true pro when it comes to press releases or “getting the message out”. Jacquie Thillaye and Shape Communications are based out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
